·       Obstructions blocking sun

o   Distance to obstructions

o   Height of obstructions

o   Zoom and click on nearest location

o   Click the “Observations” tab on the Overlays pulldown

o   Increase the density, if necessary, for more stations

·       Satellite image  (https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/)

·       Contact Local NWS Office (https://www.weather.gov/srh/nwsoffices)

 
Exemplar Testing

·       Best within 7 to 10 days

·       Similar Vehicle and Location

·       Similar Temperature

·       Remote reading thermometer so doors remain closed

·       Readings out of direct sunlight
