Child Found Dead In Vehicle Amid 100-Degree Temperatures in Perry County

According to WDAM, a child was found dead in a car at a home in Perry County.

A death investigation is now underway.

The child was found Tuesday when temperatures were around 100 degrees.

It is unclear how the child got inside or how long they may have been in the vehicle

WDAM reports that Forrest County Coroner Lisa Klem said the child’s body had been sent for an autopsy, as Friday may be the earliest that a cause of death could be determined.
