Osage girl dies in hot car
A three-year-old girl from Osage, Minnesota died after she got into a family vehicle during the sweltering heat.
Becker County Sheriff Tim Gordon says the girl wandered out of her home Monday after being put down for a nap. She took an electronic video game with her and went inside the vehicle.
The girl was dead when her mother found her inside the vehicle about two hours later. Outside temperatures were in the mid- to upper-90s.
Gordon says the mother is a licensed day-care provider. The girl's name wasn't immediately released.
Osage is about 30 miles east of Detroit Lakes
